Finland - Blue Swastika on Finnish Airplanes[08/24/2003] The following can be seen in the Tikkakoski Air Force Museum in Finland: "Blue swastikas (fylfot) were drawn on the surfaces of the first airplanes of the Finnish Air Force in Umea. (donator of the airplanes: Graf Eric v. Rosen). ...The Swastikas used by the Finnish Air force from 1918 till 1945 have no connection with the German Nazi-symbols, which were painted in black and used on its sharp side... Small Extract from a holiday journal: A stop is rather necessary: a museum’s exhibition area just north from Jyväskylä near Tikkakoski, even on the stressful first day is a must see event. Firstly, we’ll meet on the second World War lower gallery, with the Finnish Air Force Museum just behind (N62°23.26355´ E025°40.8515´). Interesting: all types of Russian aircraft, including the Finnish with swastikas, which had nothing to do with the Nazi-symbols.

This sign is a cosmic religious sign and never and by no means a political symbol.
