Germany - The anti-constitutional trees in the County of Zernikow

[08/03/2003] In the 1930 Lumberjacks planted a 60-by-60 meter Swastika made of Larches (pine trees) into a pine-forest near Zernikow 110 km northeast of Berlin. The Swastika was only visible in spring or autumn, when the pine-needles changed their colour).

Until 1992 this swastika was forgotten, until hobby-pilots rediscovered it. The picture is from the 14th November, 2000 and was shown in German tabloids. Shortly afterward the German forestry ordered to fell 25 of the "anti-constitutional trees".
