Germany - Viersen late-Gothic church-construction St. Remigius
[12/08/2003] The franconian hallchurch from the 8./ 9. century with many swastikas
as four-foot, tripod and two-foot, can be attended as the eldest until
now proven stone-church in Viersen. About 1181/82 rebuilds to a
three-shipy Romance pillar-basilica, from the 14 century first
rebuildings to an early-Gothic church, that was not led to end
however.As a written tradition says the present-day late-Gothic
church-construction is from 1484.
The four- feet are on the clock, on all four sides of the tower.

master builders of this church have meant it very well at that time as
they created this construction. Their knowledge about the true meaning
of these symbols must also have been very high . Because the church is
surrounded with this symbolic liable representations.
